In 2015, we opened our doors as part of the Effoi Pizza franchise. For years, we served Addis our signature thin crust in a space that felt like a friend's living room.
When Effoi was acquired, we chose independence. Adey Pizza was born a continuation of our commitment. We kept the exact recipes, the same kitchen team and the warm family vibe you love.
The name ‘Adey/አደይ’ is drawn from the iconic Ethiopian flower 'Adeyabeba' 
that blooms exclusively during September and October, signalling the Ethiopian New Year with vibrant yellow petals that symbolize new beginnings and renewed hope. This seasonal emblem perfectly captures our own journey of rebirth, while also sharing a delightful geometric kinship with our craft: just as the 'Adeyabeba' naturally displays eight distinct petals, our signature thin-crust pizza is cut into eight perfect slices, showing resemblance.
